Over the past 40 years, we have carried out systematic studies on Trichinella species, pathology, antigenomics at different developmental stages, pathogenic mechanisms, worm-host interaction, transcriptome, and genomics. In 2014, with this laboratory as a platform, OIE Collaborating Center for Food-borne Parasites in the Asia-Pacific Region and a central coordination storage base for major foodborne parasites in the Asia-Pacific region were established. Research on many new detection methods for food-borne parasitic diseases and the establishment of standard diagnostic methods has been carried out, and the development of 9 technologies including Using Cryptosporidium parvum cDNA display library to screen and screen the functional genes of Cryptosporidium parvum has been completed. The research laboratory currently has 1 winner of the National Outstanding Youth Fund, 1 distinguished professor of national Thousand Talents Program, 1 leading talent of national Ten Thousand Talents Program, and 1 national candidate for the New Century Talent Project. There are 2 winners of New Century Talents of the Ministry of Education, 4 members of the International Trichinellosis Committee, and 1 member of the Executive Committee.
