The 2019 Annual Meeting of the Institute of Zoonoses of Jilin University was Successfully Held

On December 26, 2019, the 2019 Academic Annual Meeting of the Institute of Zoonoses of Jilin University was held in the lecture hall on the second floor of the school library. The meeting was chaired by Professor Yu Lu, deputy director of the Institute, and the judges were Dean Liu Mingyuan, Professor Zhu Guan, Professor Li Jianhua, Professor Liu Zengshan and Professor Yu Lu. Chen Yujiang, director of the Science and Technology Department of the university, and Cui Chengrui, associate researcher of Academic Achievement Section were invited to this academic annual meeting. In addition, all the teachers and students of our institute participated in this academic annual meeting.

At this academic annual meeting, 5 professors and 11 graduate students gave wonderful and vivid academic reports. The reports are based on professional background and cover a wide range of topics, including Professor Peng's “Detection and Prevention of Bruce's Disease”, and reports on parasites, viruses and food safety of Professor Zhu Guan, Professor Wang Hualei, Professor Wang Xuelin and Professor Lu Shiying. The wonderful presentations show the fruitful achievements of our research staff in the past year. After a serious evaluation by the judges, Li Yuan won the first prize. Liu Lei and Wu Xiaodong won the second prize, Zhang Mingxin, Guan Yuting, and Ren Bowen won the third prize.

This conference promoted the internal academic exchanges. In the future, the institute will expand the field of academic exchanges, further improve the quality of academic exchanges, and produce more scientific research results.
