Remember the History  Remain True to Our Original Aspiration and Keep our Mission Firmly in Mind-Visit Palace Museum of Manchurian Regime

To fully implement the spirit of Secretary General Xi Jinping’s important speech at the Remain True to Our Original Aspiration and Keep our Mission Firmly in Mind theme education work conference, on the morning of June 13, The PhD/Master student party branch of the Institute of Zoonosis of Jilin University visited Palace Museum of Manchurian Regime in Changchun.

Palace Museum of Manchurian Regime was the palace where the last emperor Pu Yi of the Qing Dynasty lived. It is a historical testimony to the invasion of Japanese imperialists and their occupation of Northeast China. It also witnessed the betrayal of puppet emperor Pu Yi. The book From Emperor to Citizen: The Life of Aixinjueluo Puyi and the display of the Manchurian Palace show Puyi's experience from the last emperor of the Qing Dynasty, the puppet emperor of the Manchukuo, and war criminals to a citizen of New China. The museum is now a patriotism education demonstration base and a national defense education base, providing materials for the general public, especially young people, to understand modern Chinese history and to carry out patriotism education.

Through the visit, we once again felt that backwardness was about to be beaten up. The restoration of historical buildings reflects the crime of the Japanese invaders who manipulate the Puppet Manchukuo led by Pu Yi to carry out bloody colonial rule on the people of Northeast China. This is also the reason why we must uphold the party's leadership, remember the historical humiliation, unswervingly follow the path of socialist characteristics, and realize national rejuvenation and the prosperity of China. We deeply realized that the imperialist countries will not help us sincerely and selflessly. Only by firmly controlling the destiny of the Chinese people in our own hands can the Chinese people lead a happy life and realize Chinese dream. We should not forget our original aspiration, keep our mission firmly in mind, devote ourselves to scientific research, and strive to build a first-class discipline and first-class college.
