The Institute of Zoonosis holds a meeting to further standardize scientific research conduct

On the afternoon of October 10th, the Institute of Zoonosis held a meeting to further standardize scientific research conduct.Party and government leaders, directors of research offices and party branch secretaries attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Secretary Ma Chunfeng.

On the meeting, Director Li Zhaohui of the Scientific Research Office conveyed the guidelines and related requirements of the meeting to further standardize scientific research activities of the department. The participants were organized to study the documents of "Viewpoints of the Ministry of Education on Further Regulating Scientific Research Conducts in Universities" and the "Ministry of Education on Further Strengthening the Management of University Scientific Research.The meeting also notified two cases of academic misconduct by the Department.  

At last, Director Liu Mingyuan put forward two requirements for the research work of the Institute: one is to abide by the academic ethics, every scientific researcher must strictly abide by the academic ethics, seek truth from facts, be careful and collaborative innovation; second, resolutely guard against misbehavior in scientific research activities, every scientific researcher must consciously maintain the academic reputation of individual and the institute. The institute and research office must establish a complete system. Leaders at all levels must strictly supervise to avoid misconduct.
